October Concert at Chesterbrook Residency

October 24, 2026

Mclean Melody just had another successful performance at Chesterbrook Residency this fall season! Since Halloween is coming up, members dressed up in costumes to bring in the spooky season spirit. The warm lighting paired with Halloween-themed songs and autumn foliage outside created the perfect fall ambience for a wonderful concert.

We had a packed program with a variety of pieces and instruments. The first half consisted of many pieces played on the piano, including classical, romantic, and modern music. Next, there were a couple of duets, including America’s Cup, performed by Noelle, Leah, and Aaron. Finally, Jacob and Daksh closed out the concert with cello and violin renditions of I Will Always Love You and Thriller. Their performance of I Will Always Love You was especially memorable in honoring the legacy of Dolly Parton, who passed away recently. It was a heartfelt moment shared between the performers and the audience through radiant melodies and resonating harmonies.

And last but not least, Jacob and Daksh presented everyone with a lively Halloween song, Thriller by Michael Jackson. The rich tones of the cello paired with the singing melodies from the violin blended together beautifully, creating an energetic and vivacious performance!

This concert couldn’t be done without the contribution of our members, so thank you to all who pitched in to make our performance successful, fun, and spooky! Happy Halloween!
