Mclean Melody had a wonderful concert to start the summer at Brightview Senior Living in Great Falls. The program included a mix of piano and strings, and both instruments added to the joyous atmosphere. Our concert began with classical pieces composed by Beethoven, Haydn and Mozart on the piano, but then branched out to Symphonies and duets on the violin and cello. Overall, it was a beautiful blend of melodious notes and rich harmonies filling the room with music that brought a smile to everyone’s faces.
Some specific highlights were the duets, which included Boya and Bowen’s performance of a Mozart Sonata for Four Hands on the piano, a piece with crisp notes and clear melodies. They also played “Sheep May Safely Graze” composed by Bach, featuring a serene elegance as well as a hint of pastoral style. Finally, Jacob and Daksh closed out the concert with four brilliant pieces on the cello and violin. They played Hungarian Dance no.5 by Brahms, medleys of My Fair Lady and GREASE!, as well as “Stars and Stripes” by John Philip Sousa. Their performances showcased their technique and coordination with each other, bringing joy to the audience through their music.
Thank you to everyone who participated in making this concert successful! We will see you at our next one.
