April Concert at Chesterbrook Residency

April 25, 2026

Mclean Melody recently had a great performance at Chesterbrook Residency for the seniors! The concert was filled with talented musicians and the program had a variety of different pieces.

Some highlights included Rose, who played Prelude in G sharp minor by Rachmaninoff and Sonata no. 16 by Mozart. These two contrasting pieces shined through in her performance with delicate notes and dramatic chords. Another highlight was Angela Sun on the Erhu, a traditional Chinese instrument with only two strings. Part of what Mclean Melody strives for is not only to share music, but also culture, and this performance was a great way of tying that in. Angela played Horse Race, a catchy and bright piece that had everyone nodding along.

Finally, thank you to all of the members who came to share their music with everyone. We had an amazing program of piano pieces and an Erhu piece. Our concert was a wonderful success!
