On December 28th, between Christmas and the New Year, Mclean Melody held its final concert of 2024. Our wonderful performance was held at Sunrise of Mclean Village senior center.
Performers captivated the audience with pieces from composers like Bach, Mozart, Shostakovich, Debussy, and Rachmaninov along with the holiday classics God Rest Ye Marry, Gentleman, Let it snow, and Auld Lang Syne.
Preston, James, Taha, and Andrew performed “5 Pieces for 2 Violins and Piano” by Shostakovich, while Eileen performed Doctor Gradus ad Parnassum and Ethan performed Rachmaninov’s Prelude Op. 23 No. 2. Each member masterly performed each piece, delighting the seniors with their skill and passion.
