Sunrise Senior Center March 22nd Performance!

Mclean Melody had a very successful performance on March 22nd! This performance was mainly comprised of solos, and the performers all had a great time sharing beautiful melodies with the seniors.

We started off the concert with Anthony Wu on the piano, delivering a beautifully played Mozart Sonata K 545 and Bach Invention No. 1. He also performed Polonaise Op. 50 No. 3, meticulously and musically interpreted. Next, Oliver performed a Kuhlau Sonatina in G Major, lifting the audience’s mood with the light and happy piece. Our violinist, Alex, then performed a beautiful Concerto, followed by pianist Alison, playing Scarlatti Sonata in C Major. Both of these pieces were executed beautifully, engaging the audience with the melodic passages of each piece. Matthew Liao then took the stage exquisitely with the second concerto of our program, with Rose Li performing a euphonic Mendelssohn piece, Lost Illusions. Jack and Jason then performed Duets Opus 105 on cello, captivating the audience with the synchronized and melodious playing. Finally, I performed Doctor Gradus ad Parnassum by Debussy, a dreamlike and ethereal impression piece.

Mclean Melody thanks all of the wonderful performers who made this concert a beautiful experience!
