One of my favorite roles at McLean Melody is designing our monthly posters! I love creating these pieces, painting and drawing to capture the spirit of each month. It’s something I look forward to, and I draw inspiration from the seasons and holidays of each month. Here are my posters for August, September, and October!
For the August poster, I wanted to capture the feeling of those last summer beach trips, where families enjoy the final bit of sunshine before school and cooler weather arrive.
In September, I turned to the magic of fall. I created a design full of colorful fall leaves, representing the trees slowly painting their leaves red, orange, and yellow as autumn arrives.
As for October, I decided to have some fun with the Halloween spirit! The poster features a ghost leaping out of the artwork, along with a spooky house sitting on top of a piano, setting a fun and eerie tone as we dive into the season of costumes and candy.
