We had a music concert at Brightview Falls church on March 14, 2026. It was my first time being the host of a music concert at a senior residence. At the beginning, I was really nervous. My heart was beating fast and I kept thinking, “What if I forget my lines?” But when I started speaking and saw the audience smiling at us, I felt much better.
The concertos were amazing. The music filled the whole room. Some pieces were loud and exciting, and some were soft and beautiful. The senior residents listened very carefully. That made all of us feel proud and happy.
Our young musicians did an incredible job. Alice and I played lovely Sonata. Anthony and Boya performed beautiful music composed by Mozart, Chopin and Bach. Rose gave us wonderful music: Prelude in G sharp Minor and The Wanderer by Faulner. We also had amazing piano and violin duet performed by Haiyang and Bhatia. Bowen concluded the concert with his super impressive music: Ondine and Impromptu. Our music really brought joy to the audience.
Being the host was a special experience for me. I was nervous at first, but in the end, it was actually very fun. I learned that music could connect people of different ages. It made me happy to see the residents enjoying the concert!
