Mclean Melody had yet another successful performance at Sunrise Senior Living, a place we often perform at. Some highlights were the trios and duets that provided a tasteful variety to the experience overall. The Shostakovich Prelude Mvt. 1-3 was played by Preston, Taha and Andrew, who skillfully mastered the techniques and expression of the striking piece. Meanwhile, the timeless Schumann piece played by Claire and Jacob brought everyone back to the romantic era with its beautifully played notes. Lakeside’s Dream, a beautifully written duet, was played by Oliver and his mom who made the music come to life with their piano skills. And of course, Big Fish performed by Alison, Alex and Claire was at once sentimental and melancholy. Overall, this was a blast and each and every performer contributed in making this performance count.
