Mclean Melody’s second performance at Waltonwood at Ashburn was another rewarding experience for us as well as the audience. The beautiful furnishing and design of the building, along with the warm morning light coming through the window, provided an excellent backdrop for our performers as they played their instruments.
April, Claire, Charlie and Ethan performed Howl’s Moving Castle, a piece consisting of piano, violin, flute and cello. This was their second time performing it, and it was like they had been practicing for months. Our team never hesitates to step up and learn new pieces, whether it be a solo, quartet, or trio. From piano and flute to cello and violin, this performance was a flurry of excitement and fun.
