This was our first performance at Vinson Hall, and it is safe to say that we will definitely be coming back! The setup and the entire atmosphere was perfect for our performance and the piano created a warm and rich sound that enveloped the audience in music.
The ensembles in this performance were especially beautiful. Alexandra, Alison, and Claire performed Big Fish, a beautiful and stirring song that left a deep impression on everyone. Next, Charlie, Claire, April and Ethan played Howl’s Moving Castle, another whimsical piece by Joe Hisashi. Finally, Claire, Eileen, Ethan and Alexandra performed Always With Me, a light and catchy song, yet harboring a deeper meaning.
The duets in this performance were also greatly appreciated. Thanks to Claire and Ethan for their well-played duets God Bless America and It’s a Small World. Eileen and Oliver also played a duet, Lakeside’s Dream, a soft, dreamy piece.
This performance would not have been a success if not for all the members who contributed and cared to make this event a good one. Thanks again to everyone who attended, and we hope to come back here soon!
