Christmas Special at Chesterbrook Residency

December 21, 2024

It was a festive morning at the Chesterbrook Residency. Warm, golden lights lit up the spacious room, and our performers were decked out in Santa hats and festive sweaters. The mood was joyous and there was excitement in the air.

We wanted to make this performance very special to the seniors, so the idea of a Christmas carol guessing game was brought up and created. A big thanks to all that helped achieve our goal!

From flute to oboe to piano to violin and cello, the instrument variety was great in this concert. The solos and duets performed consisted of festive holiday music, as well as classical and jazz-y pieces. But the obvious highlight of this performance was the Christmas Carol Guessing Game, of course. A special thanks to Claire, Ethan, Anne-Sophie, Hudson, Jacob, Eileen, and Zachary for orchestrating this section of the event. We had so much fun handing out gifts and sharing music, and I’m sure that the seniors did too. Happy Holidays!
