Another great performance at Sunrise! Full of musical variety, this performance included lots of piano, violin, and a few beautiful ensembles. This time, Lakeside’s Dream, a whimsical piece, was played by Eileen and Oliver. Their first time playing this piece went very smoothly and they effortlessly weaved together the notes to create a great performance. Congrats to them!
Another new piece, God Bless America, was performed by Claire and Ethan on the flute and piano. A classic and patriotic piece, as well as a favorite to many, God Bless America was beautifully performed and it was clear that their efforts paid off. The final ensemble was another classic in its own way. Pirates of the Caribbean, which we often perform, sounded even better than the last performance. Credits to Eileen, Jacob, Ethan, Claire, and Alex for performing this epic piece.
The solos of this performance were also a great success, from sonatas to rags to waltzes and more. Everyone played a role in creating the best atmosphere for others to enjoy and share music.
