Mclean Melody had a wonderful performance at the Sunrise Senior Center in Mclean this April! The program was full of a variety of different pieces that entertained and brought joy to everyone there. From Sonatas to Concertos and more, the string instruments paired with the piano worked very well in achieving a rich melody and harmony. In this concert, we had a lot of soloists on the piano, violin, and cello; each and every one of them played beautifully and had their own unique style. A highlight of the performance was the small ensemble performance by Andrew Zi, Preston Beckwith, Taha Sarviha and James Chugn, who played the Piano Concerto No. 20 in D Minor K.466: II Romance. The piece was lively and lyrical, and the different instruments complemented each other nicely.
