This weekend on June 28th, 2025, ten young musicians turned a quiet afternoon at the Sunrise Senior Residence into a small concert hall! With pianos and violins, we brought music, laughter, and a lot of smiles to the lovely grandparents there.
Alison hosted this program. Each of us performed a piece we had practiced. Our program includes a variety of music styles — from classical pieces by Beethoven, Chopin, and Scarlatti to fun and modern tunes like Black Beat Blues and Rush E. Our musicians performed elegant waltzes, joyful dances, peaceful melodies, and exciting fast pieces. Together, the music creates a beautiful and lively afternoon for everyone to enjoy.
It felt amazing to see how music can brighten someone’s day. We didn’t just play music — we made new friends. We can’t wait to come back and perform again!
